This Story really touched me, I read the First part and then did not want to continue reading until I post this.
Tame. The fox wanted the Prince to tame it. If you were the Prince, Will you tame it? Like the Fox is asking the Prince to tame him. It is hinting him to tame him. but the Prince want to look for Friend. Now let's put it in Reality.
Would you want to tame this animal or something or do you want to run away to get look for Friends instead? Are Friends so important? Or is The Lord Much more important? The Lord is asking you to be with him? To share the thought of every single thing to him. Will you share? Will you be responsible after you've tame the Lord to be by you?
How can we Summarise the Bible And Christianity in 3 word?
What will the 3 words be ?
God is Love? God Loves Me/us ? Is this from the bottom of your heart that you want to say?
When this fox is about to die, This small little prince is sad. And He no longer want to tame anyone or Anything. But You see, You've already tamed All this things that you've love.
The Nature, The things you have & God.
What you've tamed you already tame. You cannot say that you don't want to tame it. You already put the responsibility to do something. We should not leave and neglect about it. We are neglecting a lot of things. We have even take our parents for granted don't you think?
Could any of you recalled when is the last time you tell them I Love you? Have you told the Lord that You really Love him? In Your prayer, what have you said to the Lord. We have been neglecting so many things and who do we blame? Sometimes we blame the others when the fault it ours. Isn't it True?
What is really important in your life? What have you put up responsibility for? Have you done anything to show that you're taking up that responsibility? What is holding you back from doing it so?
Have you said Sorry to the Lord for you've break his heart. When people break your heart, they said sorry. So if you break the Lord heart have you say sorry to him? Have you put him in your trouble and ask him for help. After that, have you thank him.
During Eucharistic Celebration, What have you offered up to him to thank him for the whole week? When you sin, You are like you are not taking up responsibility to him. Like the Prince not taking up responsibility to the roses. Everything that is in this Whole, With or Without soul is God's Creation. And With or without soul is all tamed by Us, Human being. If you neglected Him, Surely, you will neglect everyone else right? Yes, I know It's hard to not neglect. But Am very sure, try to ask the Lord for help. Troubles are always there, Yes you can only want to tell your closest friend. But have you talked to the Kin that formed you in his own creation?
He already knew you even you are not even formed as a baby in your mother's womb. He is the kin that you should talk every single day regardless if you don't see or feel him. He is the Father whom created you. So what do you want to do about it? You've tamed him to be yours, And You are chosen to be He's Child. We human always forget that He is there. But only when we are sad or in trouble then we know that he is there, then we start to blame him for all things we suffered, But actually it's not his fault. Well, I really wished we can start to learn to be able not to neglect him.
I am done. And I really hope this is okay, There's a lot of rant from me in this whole reflection as when i wrote all this, I recalled many things I've done. Many times I've neglected him. We are all human, But we can only just pray to stop resisting from temptation. I hope my sharing will let you guys learn something. This Story that Father Bruno shared in homily, & Before i leave I would want to say this :
I would want to say thank you for being such a great friend & I've tame you so i'll be responsible for you
